Camzey scores 28 out of 100 in ChatRadar’s testing, a Safety Tier D built on minimal moderation and no signup requirement. It’s free to use with no downloads, and the honest trade-off for that simplicity is the lowest moderation tier in ChatRadar’s system — safety tools exist, but there’s less behind them than at platforms scoring higher.
What Camzey Actually Is
Camzey is a cam-to-cam roulette platform built around swipe-and-match style browsing: you can skip to the next person freely, chat instantly with no downloads, and use basic location and language filters to narrow who you connect with. It positions itself as an Omegle alternative with an emphasis on privacy through anonymous, unregistered access.
Against most of our full ranking of all 49 platforms, Camzey’s swipe-style browsing is a slightly different interaction model than the strict one-at-a-time “next” button most roulette competitors use, though the underlying anonymous, no-signup mechanic is otherwise familiar.
How It Works
- Go to Camzey’s site in any browser — no download required.
- No registration is required to start chatting.
- Allow camera access and begin browsing or matching with available users.
- Use location or language filters if you want to narrow your matches.
- Block or report any user directly from the chat screen.
- Skip to the next match at any time.
What It Costs
Camzey is free with no downloads and no payment required for any feature tested, including its location and language filtering.
That puts it alongside platforms with no cost at all in ChatRadar’s grid.
Safety
Camzey scores 28 out of 100 in ChatRadar’s testing, landing it in Safety Tier D, ChatRadar’s lowest tier. That reflects minimal moderation — block and report tools exist, but there’s no indication of active AI or human review behind them, and no signup step adds any accountability layer.
See our scoring methodology for the eight dimensions behind that number, and ChatRadar’s Safety Index for how Camzey compares across all 58 platforms we track.
Who It’s For
Camzey fits someone who wants the simplest, fastest possible entry into random video chat and isn’t prioritizing moderation depth — free, no signup, no download, with basic filters if you want them.
It’s not for anyone who wants strong safety guarantees. With Tier D moderation and no account requirement, Camzey offers less structural protection than most of ChatRadar’s grid, and anyone prioritizing safety should look at higher-scoring platforms first.
Where It Falls Short
The honest downside is moderation depth. Camzey’s Tier D score reflects tools that exist on paper — blocking, reporting — without evidence of the active AI or human review that higher-scoring platforms in our grid rely on. Combined with no signup requirement, there’s little standing between a reported user and simply reconnecting immediately.
